June 07 - Just picked her up! I got it used with 26k miles, complete with Injen DP, HKS Catback, Turbo XS BOV, Tein springs, Nitto NT555R 245/45 17 tires and a few small goodies (removed intake silencer, AM boost guage). This car is a true blast to drive, I look forward to driving it in the mornings and hate having to park it every night. In fact I think I'm going to go for a drive right now...

July 07 - A couple of glamour shots...

September 07 - In the last couple of months I've gone a little mod-crazy. I've removed the Turbo XS BOV (this car wasn't meant for an atomspheric BOV, I bought a used stock BPV to replace it and am very happy with the change), added an Injen intake, Kartboy short shifter, buttloads of Kartboy, TiC, and Whiteline bushings, STi V-Limited front lip, Cobb Accessport, Innovate LC-1 wideband o2 sensor kit, and moved the Innovate XD-16 AFR gauge and the Autometer boost gauge to the A-pillar.

October 07 - Just replaced the brake pads with Hawk HP+, these things are ridiculous! A couple of pics from the install (yes I know my garage has a hole in it).

November 07 - Some new toys have arrived! New OEM under panel, GT-Spec Gen II header/uppipe and Thermotec heat wrap, 1 step colder NGK iridium plugs, Walbro 255lph fuel pump, and a set of urethane rear trailing link bushings

February 08 - Some new gauges, MadDad Ultra boost, oil pressure, oil temperature, and a MadDad v2 Ti EGT for the a-pillar to replace the old boost gauge.

June-November 2009 - Engine Build!

Before you get the wrong idea, no the stock motor did not blow, I just decided to build it before it did. The stock engine was still running great when I pulled it out.

Feb 2011

Not much to say here. The car is now running on E85, new engine is holding together nicely. I'm currently building up the fuel system so I can actually take advantage of this turbo on E85 (currently saturating the 850cc injectors at ~14 psi).

 

June 2011

The fuel system is done and running well. I'm in the process of re-tuning the car for the new injectors, and it's going smoothly.
